1. Diamonds
Diamonds are prone to getting greasy and dirty, which can cause them to lose their luster. When wearing them daily, it is necessary to avoid oil stains as much as possible. Before applying any care products or moisturizers, it is advisable to remove the diamond jewelry first. At home, you can gently wipe the diamond and its setting with a soft-bristled brush, then rinse them with clean water and dry them with a soft cloth.
2.Gold / Platinum / 18K Gold
Gold is a soft metal and is prone to deformation due to compression or impact. Therefore, it should be worn and stored with care. Avoid wearing it together with platinum or silverware as the friction between metals may leave white marks on the gold.
The fingerprints and stains on the surface of precious metals can be removed using non-abrasive cloth (such as polishing cloth or eyeglass cleaning cloth). Never use abrasive cleaning powders or cleaners, nor should you use bleach to clean gold jewelry, as this may cause discoloration and decomposition.
3. Jadeite
It can be cleaned with warm soapy water, or wiped clean with a soft cloth.
